For records filed before July 31, 2014, the court directs users to a written request form because of Michigan's Automatic Clean Slate framework. Michigan Clean Slate and Pre-2014 Records
Michigan's Automatic Clean Slate law removes eligible convictions from public criminal history under MCL 780.621 and related statutes. The 67th District Court applies the law by requiring a written form for any pre-07/31/2014 records inquiry. The court links the SCAO MC 227 series forms for Clean Slate applications. One application is required per case.

District Court Bond Procedure
Criminal bond may be posted at the 67th District Court between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Cash and most debit and credit cards are accepted. Bond may also be posted at the Genesee County Jail. The court warns that release times are handled by the jail, not the court. Bond information is scanned to the jail at processing. The automated bond amount line is 810-257-3426. The statute on bond types is MCL 765.6.
The defendant is responsible for verifying the next court date and making sure the court has the correct mailing address on file. Defendants with court-appointed attorney questions should contact their attorney or the Genesee County Office of the Public Defender at 810-257-3800.

If a previous credit card payment was reversed or returned for non-sufficient funds, payment must be in person or by mail. Mail payments must be by cashier's check or money order made payable to 67th District Court and must include the ticket number. No personal checks are accepted for mail payments.
